Carmen Ejogo

Carmen Elizabeth Ejogo, born to the Nigerian dad and an Scottish mother, was raised to a Scottish mother and father in Kensington, London. In the United Kingdom, she began her television career in 1990, when she was the host of the kids' show Saturday Disney. When she is in the United States, Ejogo has established herself as an actress. Ejogo she has been working with many artists in the 90s, is as well a skilled voice artist. She was the songwriter and sings in the English DJ Alex Reece song, Candles. Her duets, vocals, and solos on "Slowly" along with Tricky was also recorded. Aside from "Candles", Ejogo appears on four songs in The Sparkle (2012) original soundtrack album from the movie with the same title, she sings lead vocals in "Yes I Do" (as an individual), and co-lead singing with Jordin Sparks as well as Tika Sumpter, on "Jump", "Hooked on Your Love" as well as "Something He Can Feel".
